Casa de Paz SLV

Holistic Post Acute Trauma Support for Asylum Seekers & New Immigrants

APPLICATION

Casa de Paz SLV is a Post Acute Holistic Trauma Center located in south central Colorado USA.  This area offers a very pure natural setting in a community that is rich in holistic healing opportunities.  You are welcome to come here to rest, decompress & integrate the trauma you have experienced on your immigration journey.

Currently, we do not have funding to house or feed you.  You will need to be sponsored.

Retreats are for asylum seekers & new immigrants who have been in the US less than 3 years.

Closest airport is in Denver, CO.  We are 4 hours south.  You can rent a car, take a bus to Moffat, CO or take an airplane shuttle to Alamosa, CO to get to Casa de Paz SLV located in Crestone, CO.  We can pick you up from the Moffat bus stop or Alamosa airport.

Casa de Paz SLV provides a peaceful setting for you (& your children) that can include walks in nature, art & music therapy, horse therapy, pet therapy, yoga, qigong, meditation, soaking in hot springs, group or private Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy & life coaching.

We will provide a list of affordable & peaceful housing options in our community where you & your immediate family can stay.  If your sponsor is able to watch your children, attending alone may be the most restful & affordable option. Children are also encouraged to attend to transform the trauma they have experienced on their immigration journey,

Casa de Paz SLV is not an acute trauma treatment center.  Please consult your medical doctor & therapist for acute trauma treatment before applying.

Families, please fill out an application for each family member who is requesting holistic post acute trauma support.

Once we review your application, we will follow up to schedule your retreat.

Retreats will be provided as time allows, on a first come first serve basis.  Casa de Paz SLV reserves the right to turn away any applicant for service.  Our decision is based on our ability to assist you & on our availability to provide this service for free.  Currently, Casa de Paz SLV is completely reliant on donations from the general public & volunteers.
