Qigong is a gentle healing movement practice that is part of the system of Chinese Medicine. Qigong balances energy within the body for optimal health and assists the practitioner in experiencing their full potential. Gina has been practicing qigong for 10 years as a way to balance the energy generated in tantra practices, as well as to heal her own health concerns. Gina has been mentored by Ann Carroll for 6 years in Qigong and Chinese Medicine.  Ann Carroll is the student of Ken Cohen, who is the author of the well known book The Way of QiGong.   She has also studied with many other well known qigong masters over the years.

I’ve been doing yoga for 30 years, and teaching for seven, but I always learn something new from a master teacher like Gina. I’ve known for years that our body-mind awareness and connectedness is strengthened through yoga practice. However, what I saw and felt during Gina’s session last week is how intentionally we can zero in on physical places where we hold specific tensions/memories/feelings — and release them into joy!
— Colleen Myers, Kripalu Yoga Teacher and Ordained Minister
Gina does an excellent job of creating a contemplative climate to practice a variety of challenging, yet often playful asanas. Her clear, calm voice easily guides yogis through practice sessions that provide inner calmness and clarity, while building physical strength and flexibility.
— Sara Weinberger, MSW Professor of Social Work
Gina is an exceptional role model and teacher of yoga and natural healing. She is devoted to healing and personal transformation and gently invites us to join her on the path. Gina guides us to deep places of self-discovery and acceptance, where healing happens and wholeness is restored. Like “water that wears away rock,” Gina’s yoga instruction dissolves physical, emotional, and energetic barriers to being healthy, joyful and fully alive. Her teaching is a gift!
— Mary Anne Bright, EdD, APRN, BC, Professor Emerita University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Author, “Holistic Health and Healing”
Gina has an exceptional gift to heal others through the use of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She has the unique ability to transform mental constructs and remove negative energies that lodge themselves in one’s physical body. Gina’s expertise in Tantra practices and PRYT has helped me to integrate mind, body, soul, and spirit toward greater wholeness. Gina has helped me to heal old wounds from childhood trauma, practice forgiveness and compassion toward my sister, achieve greater intimacy with my husband, and gift me with the freedom to accept myself. Namaste, Gina!!!
