Chapter 1:  Turn Toward the Light and a Tantra Lifestyle

The spiritual world has evolved, as we explore other dimensions and address our shadows more deliberately.  What is it like to live in the light? To learn ways to remain expanded and to live with more ease when in uncomfortable situations?  To learn to ride out the storms that are inevitable in life.

Defines Tantra, the history of Tantra in the U.S. and how Tantra practices open the physical and emotional body to transformation and living one’s true calling. The Third Eye Meditation is offered in this chapter for those who are just beginning to explore Tantra. It is a simple practice that promotes kundalini energy activation, inviting the energy centers in the body to open and expand over time.

Chapter 2: Self Love

Guides readers to begin taking care of their body and mind, so they can gently expand and transform. This chapter includes helpful lifestyle suggestions that can be applied easily in daily life, and introductory Qigong and tantric yoga practices.

Chapter 3: Transforming Ego

Transforming ego is the main premise behind the science and methodology of traditional tantric practices. When one is willing to surrender and be vulnerable, one can then expand into their true identity.

Chapter 4: Clear, Honest and Loving Communication

Guides the reader to learn to communicate in new ways, so they can live the life they are meant to live with ease and harmony.

Chapter 5: Community, Companionship, Partnership

Helps the Tantra practitioner to understand that life is a solo journey, but also how to access support and how to maintain one’s uniqueness in relationship with others.

Chapter 6: The Shadow and How It Plays into Getting Along with Others

Defines the shadow side of our personality, how to notice it and learn from it. The shadow side of the personality is what seems to cause us to struggle in life. With awareness of the shadow, we can learn to transform this aspect of Self to a lighter way of being in the world, while experiencing more peace and self-acceptance.

Chapter 7: Maintaining Your Center and Integrating

Once the reader begins to expand into their true purpose, as a result of applying the practices in the book, this chapter provides guidance for solidifying these changes in the body, mind and spirit.

Chapter 8: Sharing Energy

Reinforces the need for a solo practice, while introducing the factors that come into play when sharing energy in partner practices. This chapter provides detailed instructions for eye gazing, hugging, synchronized and circular breathing exercises, as well as ways to ground and center oneself when sharing energy with a partner.  I also discuss navigating connection and dating during the Global Pandemic and some safer options.

Chapter 9:  Sexuality and Aging

Sex may change as we age.  Sacred sexuality can be very helpful during this phase of life.  It’s a time in life when an energy based connection is more natural.  I can also be a time for creativity.  Expand as you age together into the Light.

Chapter 10:  Nature and Solitude can make us Whole

Something I have learned while living off grid in remote Colorado is that nature and solitude has made me whole. When one lives alone in nature, there are times when there isn’t much to do, so one begins to find the things that brings one joy.  To create this kind of experience anytime and anywhere, this chapter also includes guidance for creating your own solo silent retreat day.

Chapter 11:  Horse Medicine

Working with horses like mine, rescues that have been traumatized by people and accidents, requires slowing down and awareness of their every move, as well as focusing on what the horse is doing.  This require complete presence and awareness in order to be successful at creating a cooperative working relationship.  As a result, horses become a reflection of our personalities.  With their help, we can learn a lot about ourselves and how to self-regulate our own trauma symptoms.
